Content
1. The Holy Spirit: Old Testament perspectives; Jesus and the Spirit; “personality” and deity; ministries and gifts, individual and corporate; Holy Spirit and human spirit.
2. The doctrines of grace: justification and sanctification; election; grace; regeneration and renewal; law and works in Christian life.
3. Church and ministry: biblical images; marks; mission and the Kingdom of God; major developments and issues in the forms of ministry.
4. The means of grace: prayer; Word and sacraments; sacramental principles; baptism in the New Testament and history; the Lord’s Supper in the New Testament and history.
5. The Christian hope: Jewish eschatology and the “age to come”; New Testament perspectives; eternal life; promise and fulfilment; cosmic and personal destiny.
