Rationale
Introduces students to the theory and principles that inform Christian chaplaincy and spiritual care in a variety of institutional settings and the skills that are required for professional, safe and ethical practice.

- Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Formation and Skills (PC166-512)
- Mental Health Presentations in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care (PC167-512)
- Legal, Ethical, and Cultural Issues in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care (PC168-512)
Units in this course are completed at Level 5 or above.
Admission Requirements
ATAR: Completion of Year 12 in the last two years, with an ATAR of 65 or above; OR
Previous Qualifications: Successful completion of a qualification at AQF Level 5 or above; OR
Demonstrate Academic Suitability for course: Test, Brief Essay, or Interview.
Language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with minimum of 6.0 in each subtest OR 10 years in Australia with English being the language primarily spoken both at home and work. For further information, please refer to the University’s English Language Proficiency Policy here.
Language requirements (Chinese course): Qualification in Chinese in the last 10 years; or using Chinese as the language primarily spoken both at home and work for the last 10 years; or Chinese Language Proficiency test through a HSK Test or another test approved by the University.
