Content
- A survey of features common to peoples of all faiths in the contemporary world; Christian relations with and approaches to peoples of other faiths.
- Survey of the beliefs, practices and purposes of three of the following major world religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism and Islam – and an assessment of their influence in contemporary society in east and west.
- Survey of the beliefs of secularism and animism and their influence on major world religions.
OR
- A study of the major Chinese religions: Taoism, Confucianism and Chinese Buddhism, including the influence of primal and folk religion. The study will involve an examination of the historical roots and development in the beliefs and practices, cultural influence and contemporary reforms of the various religions.
