Sexual Assault & Sexual Harassment Online Reporting Form

If you have experienced sexual assault or sexual harassment, there are support services which can help you. The University has a list of national and state-by-state support services you can access here. You are able to access this support regardless of when and where the assault and harassment occurred.

Use this online reporting form if:

you have experienced sexual assault or sexual harassment;
you have witnessed sexual assault or sexual harassment involving students, staff, or others connected with the Australian University of Theology including its colleges;
someone has told you about their experience of sexual assault or sexual harassment at the Australian University of Theology including its colleges.

You can make a report anonymously or by providing your contact details. If you report anonymously, the information will be recorded to track incidents of sexual assault and harassment and to inform our management of the issues. It may not be possible to investigate the report if it is anonymous. If you choose to provide your contact details, you will be contacted by the AUT SASH Contact Officer to discuss how you would like the University to follow up on your report. If you are reporting on behalf of another person, you should not provide their name or contact details unless you have their permission.

Sexual assault is a term covering a range of criminal offences involving a sexual act or sexual contact without consent.

Sexual harassment is an unwelcome sexual advance, an unwelcome request for sexual favours, or other unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature in circumstances in which a reasonable person, having regard to all the circumstances, would have anticipated the possibility that a person would be offended, humiliated or intimidated.
