“‘Ask, and it will be given to you’: The Relationship of Promises and Conditions in New Testament Petitionary Prayer” by Donald S. West

“‘Ask, and it will be given to you’: The Relationship of Promises and Conditions in New Testament Petitionary Prayer” by Donald S. West

Through a fresh exegetical examination of key texts, ‘Ask, and It Will Be Given to You: The Relationship of Promises and Conditions in New Testament Petitionary Prayer’ articulates the relationship between the promises and conditions of petitionary prayer in the New Testament. West’s investigation brings clarity to the question of how and why Christians can be confident that God will grant their petitions, and thus stimulates discussion and reflection among scholars, pastors, and all who adhere to the New Testament on matters of theology and practice.
