The AUT continues to monitor the guidelines provided by Department of Health webpage and adapt its response accordingly.

Direction for meetings and staff

People attending the University Office for meetings are expected to follow COVIDSafe measures, in particular:

  • Do not attend the Office if you have any COVID-19-related symptoms,
  • Do not attend the Office if you, or a person you are residing with, is awaiting the result of a COVID-19 test,
  • Practice good hygiene while on-site including hand washing

Members of Boards/Committees may attend meetings either physically or virtually (e.g., Zoom). The Chair of the Board/Committee may communicate expectations and preferences for attendance that apply to their Board/Committee.

All Board/Committee members are to consider the level of risk to them personally in travelling to physically attend a meeting, taking into account:

  • The level of COVID-19 transmission in locations relevant to the travel,
  • Their own vaccination status, and
  • Whether they have any health conditions that make them more vulnerable to COVID-19 (see this Department of Health webpage for a list of such health conditions). If a Board/Committee member does not consider it safe to physically attend a meeting they should attend virtually.
